Laperal Whitehouse | Baguio’s Famous Haunted House
Have you ever been to a haunted house?
Well… few weeks ago, it’s been my first time. First impression was, this is creepy! It may be psychological or not, but the stories I’ve heard before about the house echoes at the back of my mind as we head towards the old-fashioned house.
Documentary of GMA 7’s bout the house just enhanced the “afraid of ghost” feeling I have about this place. Here’s the video on youtube
As we enter the house, I’m a bit disappointed. It’s clean, not creepy, and was converted to a Bamboo Museum. However, the cold air and old ambiance is good enough for horror imagination. At one point (I haven’t told my friends this), my camera won’t click if you point it to a certain spot but it will if you move 2-3 inches away to the lef or right. This happened to me in Corregidor few years back. They said, someone might be standing infront of the camera.. too close that the camera won’t focus!!!
I managed to take few more shots, hoping I won’t capture something strange.
The main lobby is ok, but the going upstairs is different.
I won’t post more pictures, so it will keep you wondering what it looks like on the 2nd floor with 4 rooms and an attic on the third floor.
Laperal House, haunted.. but a must visit in the morning. Hehe!!
