Dumaguete City

Dumaguete is a small city. I can say that you can explore it by walking. They have Robinson’s mall, Banks, Jollibee, McDonalds, Shakeys, etc… but I’m not interested to those. So I woke up at 5:30 am the following day and explored the bay.

Rizal Boulevard

The Rizal Boulevard is famous in the city. It’s the Roxas Boulevard of Dumaguete but cleaner and well mantained for my taste.

I walked farther…

My plan was to buy tickets for my next day’s Siquijor tour. Which is a walking distance away from Bethel. But I’ll discuss that in my later post.

And since I’m a very health buff person, I walked going to the Pier but rode the cab back to the hotel. Hehehe.

Here’s what they call “Cab” or “Pedicab” wherein we call it “Tricycle” in Manila.
Cab

Beware of the cab fare coz some drivers will charge you higher than normal if they knew that you are a tourist. As of writing, minimal fare is 7.50 per person. With my exprience, I was charged 40 pesos for a walking distance route. Ouch!

Dumaguete City is such a lovely place. I’ll be back soon. And oh, don’t miss Sansrival Resto.. one of the best in town. It’s few blocks away from Bethel Guest House.

I’ve visited Dumaguete in the end of March 2010, and I loved it so much! Such a cool place to live. Don’t miss Apo island, btw 🙂

Oh, what a pity! I’d love to see the photos from there.
Anyway, maraming salamat for the great posts about Pilipinas. Miss the country so much since I left it.

I’ll be back to Dumaguete for sure and will have APO island tour. I’m not a diver though hahaha, so I can only show photos of the area. If you come back to Philippines, let me know. Maybe we can have a photo tour.

    Salamat Kaibigan (friend).
